Missed target: −1 life. Wrong shot: you lose points and your streak resets, with no life lost. Scores stay at zero or above. At Standard speed, consecutive correct hits earn 100, 200, 300 points and onward. Gentle speed earns half points; Intense earns 1.5× points. A wrong shot or missed target resets the multiplier to 1×.
Press P to pause and inspect word meanings. Keep playing until you lose all five lives or choose End & review. Speed and word arrivals increase every 45 seconds. Starting with one syllable adds two-syllable words after 90 seconds; Two syllables only and Mixed keep their selected word pools.
