Sound Shooter by Mann Made English · Last updated October 2026
Sound Shooter is a pronunciation game. We collect as little as possible, and you never need to give us your name, email address, or a password.
When you play
We record each round anonymously: the sound you practiced, the speed setting, your score, and the date. This tells us which sounds people play and find difficult, so we can improve the game. These records are not connected to your name or your device.
If you save a score to a leaderboard
Saving a score creates an anonymous player ID that is stored in your browser. We keep the nickname, country, and school (optional) that you choose, along with your saved scores. Your nickname, country flag, school, and scores appear publicly on the leaderboards.
Please use a nickname, not your real full name. Leaderboards are for players aged 13 and over.
Browser storage
The game uses your browser's storage to remember your last level, your speed setting, whether music is on, and, if you saved a score, your anonymous player ID. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.
Who helps us run the game
The website is hosted by Netlify. Leaderboard and round information is stored by Supabase on servers in the United States. They process this information only to run the game.
Keeping things friendly
Nicknames are checked automatically for offensive words. We may hide nicknames, remove scores that look impossible, or block players who misuse the leaderboards.
Removing your information
Clearing your browser's site data removes your player ID from your device. To have your nickname and scores deleted from the leaderboards, email hello@mannmadeenglish.com with your nickname.
